Voices of North Mara Youth interviewing local villagers




   Mariam John (first from left) leads her colleagues in an interview with a woman (centre) found working in artisanal and small scale mining recently. The students are implementing an ambitious project which  among other things is aimed at saving school and non- children from artisanal and small- scale mining areas. The project is coordinated by Search for Common Ground (SGF)-  a non- profit international organization supporting conflict transformation  in  the villages surrounding North Mara Gold Mine
